The new domain is up, sort of. I'm working with the MovableType 4 Beta, but as it's been stated before, it's a REAL beta. There are bugs and whatnot that prevent me from getting into prime time. There are also motivational issues that prevent me from finishing the full layout design, however, it will get done. Until then, you can take a look at: http://mjhnosekai.com/

I'll keep this short and simple. Obviously I haven't been keeping up with the blogging as I had originally intended, as such, I've come to a few decisions. Before I get there though, I shall mention what leads to what.

First off, I need to make money, and to make money, I need a job. I have a job, and am looking for a better job, but nonetheless, having a job means I lose time from my schedule.
Next, in part of that search for a better job, I am in the process of completing a degree. Therefore, that's more time taken out of my schedule for my studies.
Thirdly, I've been getting out more lately, hanging around campus and the houses of some friends. As such, there's even more time removed from my schedule, though not as much as the other two.
Finally, I am finding myself not really wanting to write strictly about anime, but even more so, anime is a hobby. It is something I watch, and enjoy watching. The notion of blogging about the series, and what not, effectively removes that enjoyment if I have to force myself to write about it.

Given these situations, my decisions are as follows:
1) Effective the time of this post, I will no longer be blogging about anime in the traditional sense. When I do blog, it will most likely be articles that I have an interest in writing.
2) Given the changes in my life circumstances, I will be repurposing this website, and possibly, should I find that I can afford it, be moving off to my own webserver and domain. In repurposing, I will be writing about a broader range of topics, such as games and anime, and more.
3) I may further continue to refine this layout, and redesign the site. I may also change the engine that it runs under from MovableType to WordPress.
4) When the new site is unveiled, the existing writings will be placed under a separate installation, for archival purposes.

AirFest 2007 - My Air Rewatch

One of the advantages of broadband is the ability to download large files quickly. While quickly is a relative term (I remember the time it took to download a single episode, at least 12 hours if I was lucky), it still serves to make a point. It can be said that most of my anime collection is "computer based," that being the case, there are backups of it everywhere. Unfortunately, the disc containing Air could not be found. This led to my taking advantage of my broadband connection, and "restocking" my collection.

Even at the time of writing this post, I'm not sure what I want to do with it. So, what you're about to experience in reading this, what I'd like to get across, are some of my thoughts on a number of things. Read on, I don't bite.
